NORTH NAPLES. This Venetian Bay restaurant serves an excellent lunch menu daily. The cuisine du choix here is, of course, French. The environment is charming and warm, from the flowers on the tables to the beautiful waterside dining area. Specialties include their bouillabaisse, crème brûlée, and sea bass served with fruit chutney and spinach. Marie-Michelle's is a culinary experience not to be missed. Reservations are suggested.

OLDE TOWNE. This restaurant is responsible for one of Naples's most fun events ­ the Great Dock Canoe Race. The Dock at Crayton Cove is an open-air restaurant that enjoys ideal views of Naples Bay. The atmosphere here is informal, and the place has a sort of island feeling to it. The menu is reasonably priced and includes several seafood dishes bearing a taste of the tropics, such as Florida swordfish, Jamaican jerk shrimp, and plantain snapper.
